Jones hails England strength

England head coach Eddie Jones believes his current squad is the strongest he has had ahead of the 2019 Six Nations.

The Red Rose are currently preparing for their toughest test of the tournament when they travel to the Aviva Stadium on February 2 to face reigning champions Ireland.

With the likes of Billy and Mako Vunipola back from injury, along with experienced lock Joe Launchbury, Jones feels this is the strongest squad he has had since he took charge.

"We have always had good squads but this is probably our strongest squad," Jones told BBC Sport.

"We have been lucky that we have a number of our senior players back. Having guys like Billy and Mako and Joe Launchbury and Ellis Genge back in the forwards adds to the firepower."
