Wizz Air announce 'significant' expansion

Wizz Air have announced a "significant expansion" in Italy.

The airline carries its most passengers from the European country and they are adding a third Airbus A321neo to its base in Venice to coincide with new international routes from the city, as well as more from Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino and Pescara.

Beginning in early December, Wizz Air's flights from Venice fo rthe winter season will include three per week to Bordeaux and Larnaca, two to Tallinn, Tel Aviv and Kutaisi, a daily flight to London Luton and four per week from Valencia.

Five new connections from Milan Malpensa are also launching, including four weekly flights to Alicante and Cluj-Napoca, three to Glasgow and Brasov, and five to Seville.

At Rome Fiumicino, new routes will launch to Brasov, Bordeaux and Glasgow, while two flights are week will depart from Pescara to Iasi in Romantia twice a week from 9 December.
