A study of 2000 US parents by Visit Anaheim and 72 Point found that parents believe travelling brings them closer to their children, with 73 per cent of families revealing going away together can help strengthen family relationships.
And nearly three quarters (74 per cent) of parents like their kids to be able to experience a new area or culture whilst 67 per cent like to experience new things.
And when it comes to deciding where to go on their dream vacation, 72 per cent of respondents looked for a beach holiday whilst 69 per cent focus on the nearby restaurants. Budget is the most important part when planning a holiday or 71 per cent of those surveyed whilst 47 per cent look for the dates of travel.
