Forbes Travel Guide have unveiled their list of the World's Best Hotel Rooms for 2019 and it includes six properties in the Asian country, four in France as well as 10 independent establishments too.
The Encore Macau impresses its visitors with its "enormous tank of luminous jellyfish swimming in a deep blue sea right behind the reception desk" in the lobby and the "chandelier made from more than 1,300 rock crystals" whilst its amenities include a spa, dining and shopping outlets including Chanel and Cartier. The Four Seasons Hotel in Guangzhou also gets a mention for its "panoramic views" and "bold, contemporary interiors inspired by nature, inflected with classic Chinese elements".
The Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, the Rosewood in China's capital of Beijing and The Peninsula in the capital as well as the Wynn Macau complete the list.
In France, the famous Ritz in its capital of Paris gets an honourable mention, promising visitors a "world of opulence and historic prominence" perfect for the "21st-century traveler".
Elsewhere on the list is the Palace Hotel in Tokyo and The Fullerton Bay Hotel, which sits on Singapore's famous waterfront.
