Jake Paul feeling nervous after watching Mike Tyson's training clips

Jake Paul is "fearful" about stepping into the ring with Mike Tyson.

The YouTuber will take on the boxing icon in a controversial bout later this year and admits that the reality of the task has dawned on him after watching some of the heavyweight legend's training videos.

Asked if he is nervous after seeing Tyson's power, Paul told his BS with Jake Paul podcast: "Yeah, he was sprinting! It's motivating I think. It's good to carry fear into the ring and with you on a daily basis when you're training because it makes you better.

"It excites me that I have my toughest and craziest and most powerful opponent to date. The challenge of going to heavyweight is fun; it's a benefit because I've been eating a lot of pasta. He definitely is looking like an animal. I will say people are underestimating me. When I go to his comments, they're saying if Mike loses then fighting is rigged.

"They see how good he looks on the mitts but Mike looking good on the mitts is not even half the battle, he's got to face me in the ring. I think he might be seeing these videos and his confidence is growing."

Paul thinks that his youth and athleticism will make the difference in July's fight as there is a three-decade age gap between the competitors.

He said: "I’m the faster man. He’s the much stronger man, but I’m fresh.

"He’s experienced. I’m smart but in the ring he may be smarter, so it’s a really interesting match-up.

"But I believe I have what it takes to beat him and I know this is the toughest test of my life and it’s an honour to be in there with Mike.

"But at the end of the day I’m going to be the one who gets my hand raised."
