Knoyle keen to repay faith

Dragons scrum-half Tavis Knoyle is grateful for the support from boss Bernard Jackman and keen to repay his faith.

The number nine has only made 18 appearances for the Welsh outfit since joining from Cardiff Blues in 2016 due to a serious knee injury.

Knoyle tore his knee ligaments during the opening game of the 2017-18 season and had to sit out the entire campaign.

Despite a lack of game time, head coach Jackman opted to keep Knoyle on for 2018-19 and the 28-year-old is desperate to show what he can do.

Knoyle said: "Maybe it was a gamble for Bernard to keep me on, but I want to repay that faith and I've got one year to prove to myself I can still do it."
