The former Reds skipper - who made over 500 appearances and scored 120 goals for the team between 1998 and 2015 - posted an emotional message to the club's fans after Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Manchester City secured the Premier League trophy for Jurgen Klopp's men.
Taking to Instagram, Gerrard - who is currently in charge at Scottish side Rangers - wrote: "Congratulations to all @liverpoolfc on winning the premier league.
"Incredible achievement from a fantastic squad of top players Lead by a world class manager and coaching team also a special mention for the backing from FSG.
"And lastly and most importantly the fans who have waited 30 years let the party begin."
Gerard wasn't alone, as other Liverpool legends praised the squad for winning the club's first ever Premier League title.
Former boss Rafa Benitez - who was in charge at Anfield from 2004 to 2010 - tweeted: "Congratulations to @LFC, after 30 years, the dream comes true!
"Very happy for all the Reds! You'll never walk alone #YNWA #Champions #Liverpool"
And ex-Liverpool striker Michael Owen also weighed in and heaped praise on his former club.
The retired forward - who scored 118 times over 216 appearances between 1996 and 2004 - wrote on Twitter: "Congratulations @LFC
"What an unbelievable season and the best team by a mile! #YNWA"
