The former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder has started his coaching career with Italian club Como and wants to grace an English top-flight dugout in the future.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Fabregas said: "The Premier League is the objective; it is the biggest dream a coach can have.
"But let's keep improving. Have I got it in me? Time will tell. I believe so much in my methodology and every day you learn so much. Expectations are there but it is what you do and how you manage those expectations."
Fabregas does not wish to take a shortcut to the highest level of management and is willing to learn his trade with Como's youth teams.
The former Spain international said: "I want to enjoy the ride, enjoy the moment. There are stages to everything, and I'm still in the early stages where I'm learning so much. One hundred per cent we will give it our all to be the best we can be. I realise that I am very young, but I know what I want to do."
Fabregas believes that coaching has lit a fire inside him that disappeared during the final years of his playing career as he struggled with injuries.
He said: "It all comes natural to me. When I speak to the boys, it comes from the inside. You want to do well, you want to give your all, you want to win, and you want to do it with passion.
"The biggest thing that I'm so happy about is that in the last couple of seasons because of injuries I was losing the fire inside me, maybe because I was worried about how I was feeling."
