The British fighter was bidding to unify the heavyweight division but was dropped in the fifth round by the Ukrainian in Saturday's (19.07.25) bout but his promoter insists that the loss isn't terminal for his career.
Warren said: "He has got to learn from it. He is only 27. I look at Frank Bruno for example, three times he fought for a world title and he got it on the fourth attempt.
"Daniel has won a world title so hopefully he will come back, but the bottom line is it was Usyk's night and he is a special, special boxer."
The Queensberry promoter believes that Dubois can learn lessons from his opponent after falling to defeat against Usyk for the second time.
Warren said: "That is what Daniel needs to learn from this fight, to try and learn and develop the mental attitude that Usyk has.
"Daniel didn't stick to the task, he got careless, he dropped his hands and paid the price."
Warren confirmed that Dubois will take some time out of the ring following the loss so he can recover fully and launch a bid to become world champion again.
He said: "For Daniel now, he'll have a little break, think about things and he has got to resurrect himself.
"There are lots of fighters over the years who have been beaten and come back even stronger. That is what he has to do.
"He can punch, he can hurt you and it's just developing other aspects of his game.
"He's got to come back and make a statement."
Warren stated that Dubois will take on a "quality fighter" when he returns for his next bout.
The promoter said: "What level of opponent? Well, he has got to come back and make a statement. And make a statement against a quality fighter, that’s what he did last time and that is what he is going to have to do."
