Wales suffer Hallam Amos blow

Wales wing Hallam Amos looks set to miss the start of the 2018 Six Nations after suffering an ankle injury against Cardiff Blues.

The Dragons flyer is currently waiting to find out the full extent of the injury and whether the will require surgery to resolve the matter.

Dragons coach Bernard Jackman has admitted the 23-year-old winger could be out for up to six weeks if he does need to go under the knife.

"We're just waiting to see if we can rehab that or do we need an operation," he said.

"We're just liaising with the Wales medics to see what's the best course of treatment. Five or six weeks is the pessimistic outlook."

Wales kick-start their Six Nations campaign at the Principality Stadium when they welcome Gregor Townsend's Scotland to the Cardiff on February 3.
